FOOTBALL SCOREBOARD AND MATCH TIMER
Pingel is the scoreboard and match timer for whoever runs a grassroots football or futsal team on a Sunday morning. You log the goals, cards and subs as they happen. One link puts the same live score in front of the parents, friends and grandparents who could not get to the pitch.
You, on the sideline
Everyone else, anywhere
WHEN YOU OPEN THE APP
Top scorer, top assists and the last three results, sitting there the moment you open it. A match still running gets its own card at the bottom, so picking the second half back up is one tap. Tap any result to read its timeline back, goal by goal.
Walked away halfway through? The live card is still waiting when you come back, clock and all.
DURING THE MATCH
Your side gets the solid buttons, theirs the quiet ones, so you barely have to look before you tap. A goal takes its scorer and its assist in the same breath. The clock pauses and resumes, and half time sorts itself out. There is no flag to remember to set.
Tapped the wrong name? Swipe the event away. If you were right the first time, undo puts it back.
LINE-UPS
Pick a formation and drag every player to their spot, in their own kit colours. The bench and whoever is not playing sit underneath, so the whole squad is on one screen before kick-off. Share the line-up as a picture in the team group chat, and everyone following your link sees it too.
Six-a-side up to eleven. A futsal team gets the court instead of the grass.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Log a substitution the moment it happens, and Pingel counts every player's playing time as the clock runs. Sharing out the minutes on a youth team becomes something you can see rather than guess, and every starting line-up counts towards who started how often.
Rather not bother? Tracking subs is a switch on the team. Leave it off and the line-up is still there, just without the minutes.
MINUTES PLAYED
SHARING
Six letters, or a link you drop into the team group chat. The parent on the far touchline, the sister stuck at work, the grandparents at home. They open a page in a browser and get the running clock, the score and every goal the moment you tap it. Nothing to install, nobody to sign up.
The link works from the moment you share it until 12 hours after full time.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Hold up a QR code at the side of the pitch and they are following the team for good. After that they get more than the ninety minutes. They get the squad, the results as they finish and who is top of the scoring charts, without you sending a thing.
They still install nothing and sign up for nothing. Their page stays up and keeps itself up to date.
SCAN TO FOLLOW
They point a camera at it. That is the whole thing.
LAST MATCHES
WHILE THE PHONE IS IN YOUR POCKET
Lock the phone and the match moves to the Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island. Both scores, the clock still counting, and a pause button you can hit at half time without unlocking anything. Leave the phone in your pocket and ask Siri for the score, or to stop and start the clock, with muddy hands and gloves on.
Prefer counting down to the whistle? Set the clock to run the way your competition runs it.
Sunday 15 March
And the same match, folded into the Dynamic Island.
OVER THE SEASON
Record, form, clean sheets, top scorer, top assists, minutes and starts. You never type any of it twice. It is all worked out from the matches you already logged, so it cannot drift from what actually happened on the pitch.
Joined the season halfway through? Add the goals and assists from before you started and the rankings still come out right. Guest players count too.
GOALS THIS SEASON
The small things that decide whether an app survives a wet Sunday morning.
Full time hands you a score card worth sharing, then files the match away. Tap one on the home screen to read the timeline back, goal by goal.
Switch between them freely. Each team keeps its own squad, kit colours, history and season, and none of them can see the others.
Name, two colours, the squad and the length of a half. Set it once and every match after that starts out knowing it. On an iPhone with Apple Intelligence, paste your club's team page and it fills itself in.
Eleven-a-side, small-sided or in the sports hall. Each team has its own sport, half length and cards.
Followers who installed the app hear about kick-off, every goal with its scorer and assist, and the final score.
A sidebar for your teams and a match console big enough to prop up by the side of the pitch or in the sports hall.
Run the clock the way your competition runs it, and keep the screen awake for as long as the match lasts.
The whole app in either language, including everything the people following your link read.
Pick whichever one you can actually read on a bright touchline or under floodlights, rather than whatever the phone happens to be doing.
GET PINGEL
Pingel runs on iPhone, iPad and Android. Download it, add your team, and you are ready for Sunday morning. See every step, with screenshots.
PRIVACY
Squad, matches, history and settings stay in the app by default. The server only holds what you deliberately share, which is a live match link or an invite for someone following the team, and a shared match carries first names only. No accounts and no ads.
SUPPORT
Something not working, a feature you miss, or a step that could be simpler: every email is read and answered. From the app it is quickest. Settings → Send Feedback fills in your app version and phone model, so you only have to say what happened.
